OVERVIEW

CHALLENGE

After a successful migration from its SAP ecosystem to AWS, the customer was left with a poorly performing BI environment primarily due to their obsolete data warehouse. The main challenge was therefore to reduce the consumption of intangible resources (IT resources) and material (AWS resources) by this aging data warehouse. Another major challenge was to minimize additional AWS resources such as a SandBox, in a tight budget environment.

TEAMWORK APPROCH

Due to the pandemic, the entire project was carried out remotely, and a shutdown due to a SAP bug considerably slowed down the pace of the project, without a dedicated resource for other projects at the customer’s premises. We nevertheless made it through thanks to:
