JOB DESCRIPTION :
To support our development in Quebec, we are looking for a Senior SAP Basis Consultant.
In this role, you will be an essential link in our SAP product lifecycle team, between the infrastructure and the business. Under the supervision of the Basis team manager, your missions will be varied such as daily support to operations, mini projects, major projects or customer missions. You will be required to manage a multitude of customers and collaborate with TeamWork competence centers around the world in an operational context in Follow the Sun.
YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Installation, configuration and upgrades of SAP systems and their databases according to customer needs
Consulting services to customers
Administration and daily maintenance of SAP systems
Analysis of customer needs
Transfer of skills and training to more junior resources
Provide SAP Basis support in an SAP environment for systems such as SAP ECC/S4/Hana, SAP CRM, SAP SCM, SAP GTS, SAP PI, SAP EP, SAP GRC, SAP MDM
Manage Level 2 & 3 incidents, changes, issues
Keep the various components up to date: Database, kernels, Stack and SAP version (…)
Take charge of system refresh operations
Management of the High Availability of systems. (cloud, DRP, Hana HA)
Expertise in Solution Manager, ChaRM,
Database: SAP HANA / Oracle /MS SQL / Max DB / Sybase ASE
Knowledge of tools developed by TeamWork (Itop / ITSM Cockpit)
Maintain technical documentation and transfer knowledge within the Basis team
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :
College degree in information systems or computer related program.
General computer background: Linux, Unix Windows, networking, database, internet.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Team player with the ability to learn and act independently
Good communication skills
Knowledge of customer service in an IT company
Desire to work in an international, multicultural and global team.
