New ambition, new boat, same determination!
TeamWork and Groupe Snef are delighted to announce that our skipper Justine Mettraux will be at the start of the 2028 Vendée Globe edition with a brand new IMOCA! A project that truly matches our ambition for this new edition.
Last January, our emotions were at their peak when Justine Mettraux, a girl with whom we started our story more than 10 years ago, crossed the finish line of the 2024 Vendée Globe as the first women.
After 76 days, 1 hour, 36 minutes and 52 seconds, she became the fastest women on earth to sail around the world alone without assistance.
A little subtlety to keep in mind? The 7 competitors in front of her were all on a new boat…she was not.
A new boat, the logical continuation
After setting a new record like this one, TeamWork, together with Justine and her team and the 2024 Vendée Globe partner Groupe Snef, decide to set a new challenge: the creation of a new project… with a new boat! More than the logical continuation, this project lives up to the ambition of the skipper and the two passionate partners.
Building an IMOCA is a huge challenge, one that doesn’t come along ten times in a lifetime. And to embark on a new Vendée Globe with more sporting ambitions, alongside partners with whom there is mutual trust, is a luxury. I know how lucky I am.

After 12 years of common history with Justine, from the mini class to the IMOCA, without forgetting the Classe 40 and Figaro during which we all progressed continuously, we are very happy to accompany her and give her even higher means in her quest for performance. A boat crafted for the race
Imagined by the architect Guillaume Verdier, the construction of this new boat will start during spring 2026 at CDK in Bretagne, France for a first swim during spring 2027.
The road towards the 2028 Vendée Globe is still long; while waiting for the new boat to come to life, Justine will soon start the 2025 season, onboard her loyal TeamWork Team Snef IMOCA. No doubt that it will keep us on our toes until then…
